Our CBN oil is extracted using supercritical CO₂ and refined through a selective process that removes waxes, chlorophyll and lipids without exposing the oil to oxidation or heat degradation. The result is a non-oxidized Cannabinol extract with high stability and purity.

The oil is clear, mild in taste, and free from sediment or visible residue. The extract can be supplied as either Broad (THC-Free <20 ppm) or Full spectrum (THC content <0.2%) depending on request.

Perfect as a sleep-support and nighttime product, where effective, non-oxidized CBN makes the difference.

Distillation:
Cold-phase membrane filtration is a gentle, non-thermal process that uses pressure and specialized membranes to separate unwanted compounds from the extract. This method preserves delicate cannabinoids and terpenes while improving clarity, purity, and shelf stability

No. Refined through cold-phase membrane filtration.

Carrier oil options:
A carrier oil is a base oil used to dilute CBD. Its main role is to control CBD’s strength for proper dosing and to help the body absorb it more easily. The type of carrier oil also affects the flavour, colour and texture of the product.

MCT oil (high-quality C8+C10 type blend), Hemp seed oil, Olive oil (EV) or Avocado oil.

Decarboxylation:
Decarboxylation is a controlled heat process that activates cannabinoids. We use it to increase potency, improve consistency, and make the extract work even more effectively.

CBN oil production process, including CO₂ extraction, vacuum decarboxylation, and carrier oil blending

CBN oil: Production Process

1. Supercritical CO₂ Extraction – Cannabinoids are extracted from hemp biomass using high-pressure CO₂. This method avoids solvents and preserves cannabinoid integrity.
2. Controlled Decarboxylation – CBNa is converted into CBN using controlled heat under vacuum. This prevents oxidation and avoids forming degraded byproducts.
3. Cold-Phase Filtration – The extract is filtered at sub-zero temperatures to remove waxes, lipids, and chlorophyll while preserving cannabinoid integrity.
4. Carrier Oil Integration – The refined CBN extract is blended with the selected carrier oil. Options include MCT, hemp seed, olive, or avocado oil.
5. Triple Lab Testing – Each batch is tested twice in our in-house lab, after extraction and after decarboxylation, using HPLC and GC-MS. It is then tested by a third-party laboratory to confirm cannabinoid content, safety, and regulatory compliance.

CBN Done Right

Precision from Start to Finish

Most CBN oils are made by degrading THC, resulting in unstable byproducts & harsh taste. Ours starts differently. We use high-CBNa hemp & apply low-temperature conversion to create clean, non-oxidized CBN.
Refined without harsh distillation, it delivers a mild, clean flavour with native minor cannabinoids intact – ideal for nighttime products where purity and reliability matter.

CBN oil explained with focus on possible calming effects, and sleep support

What is CBN?

CBN (Cannabinol) is a minor cannabinoid that forms as THC naturally breaks down over time. Instead of being produced directly by the plant in large amounts, CBN appears more commonly in aged hemp and cannabis material. This makes it one of the few cannabinoids that increases as the plant matures and oxidizes.

CBN is best known for its calming effect. Unlike CBD, which is often associated with general wellness, CBN is typically used to support sleep and deep relaxation, making it a popular choice for nighttime products and recovery blends.

CBN also works well alongside other cannabinoids like CBD or CBG. When combined, these compounds can create a more balanced, full-spectrum effect that helps users unwind mentally & physically.

Adding CBN oil to your product line can help your brand stand out. Its clear use case, growing interest, and synergistic value make it a smart option for formulators looking to expand beyond CBD.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBN oil?

CBN oil is a hemp-derived product rich in Cannabinol (CBN), a minor cannabinoid commonly used in sleep and nighttime formulations. It is typically made by decarboxylating CBNa. Our CBN oil is refined to remove waxes, chlorophyll, and plant residues, resulting in a clear, stable, and mild-tasting extract. It can be supplied as either broad or full spectrum, depending on THC requirements.

Can CBN oil be sold as a standalone product?

Yes. CBN oil is commonly sold on its own, especially in sleep-focused product lines. It is known for its calming effects and is often used as a natural alternative to melatonin. Retail customers choose it for nighttime use, and its clear positioning makes it easy to market.

What other cannabinoids are present in your CBN oil?

Alongside CBN, the oil contains approximately 6% minor cannabinoids, mainly CBD and CBG. These are naturally retained during extraction and refinement, with no isolates added.

Can I order a sample of CBN oil?

Yes. We offer samples to B2B clients for quality evaluation prior to ordering. Contact us to request a sample and receive full documentation with your product.

What carrier oil options do you offer?

CBN oil is available with MCT oil, cold-pressed hemp seed oil, olive oil, or avocado oil. We recommend MCT for its neutral taste and bioavailability, but other options can be selected based on your brand preferences.

How should CBN oil be stored?

Store in a cool, dry place, in airtight containers. Avoid exposure to heat, humidity, and direct light.

What is the shelf life of CBN oil?

It remains stable for up to 24 months when stored under standard conditions.

Is documentation like CoA and MSDS available?

Yes. Each batch comes with full documentation, including a Certificate of Analysis (CoA), MSDS, and traceability records for regulatory and quality assurance.
